Transferring to another bachelor program in the college
After one full semester at least, a student may submit a request to the student affairs department to change his\her major before the deadline of registration in the next semester. The student affairs department will review the requests and submit them to the college council to take appropriate decisions no later than the end of the first week of the following semester.
A student of Bachelor of Sharia, after one full semester at least, may submit to the Student Affairs Department a request to transfer to Bachelor of Law, provided that his\her GPA is not less than (2) two points, i.e. (70%), and his\her high school average is not also less than that.
A student of Bachelor of Law, after one full semester at least, may submit to the Student Affairs Department a request to transfer to Bachelor of Sharia, provided that his\her GPA in Sharia and mutual courses is not less than two points, i.e. (70%).
It is not permissible to change the major more than once throughout the study period at the college.
When a Bachelor of Law student is given a final academic warning because his\her GPA is less than the minimum, s\he will be given an opportunity for two semesters to remove the warning. If the student fails to remove it, s\he will be compulsorily transferred to the Bachelor of Sharia program, provided that the GPA of Sharia and mutual general courses is not less than (2) two points, i.e. (70%). The college director may give the student an opportunity for an additional semester.
When a Bachelor of Sharia student is given a final academic warning because his\her GPA is less than the minimum, s\he will be given an opportunity for two semesters to remove the warning. If the student fails to remove the warning, s\he will be transferred to the remedial program for one or two semesters. If the student fails to remove the warning, s\he will be dismissed from the college.
If an undergraduate student takes all opportunities and his\her average in Sharia subjects and mutual general subjects is less than (2) two points, s\he will be transferred to the remedial program for one or two semesters. If the student fails to remove the academic earning, s\he will be dismissed from the college.
The Department of Student Affairs will include the results of the mutual courses that the student passed before transfer when calculating his\her GPA for the new major after transfer.
