Evaluation of student performance in the classroom (Classwork):
1 - Classroom assessment of students means to follow up their classwork throughout the semester. Class-work takes (50%), in addition to (50%) for the final exams. The sum of the two percentages will be the final grade of the course.
2 - Classwork, which takes (50%) of the total course score, includes various assessment aspects of student performance, summarized as follows:
First Exam, which takes (20%) of the total course score. This exam is conducted in the sixth week of the semester.
Second Exam, which takes (20%) of the total course score. This exam is conducted in the eleventh week of the semester.
(10%) of the total course score is devoted to classwork and research
3. The course instructor is responsible for making first and second exams, correcting them, and monitoring grades in transcripts. S\he is also responsible for monitoring grades of classwork and participation. All transcripts shall be approved and signed by the course instructor.
Final Exams:
1. The Dean is directly responsible for final exams. He organizes them, and follow up the heads of the academic departments and the examination committees in this regard. The Dean also approves all transcripts of final grades.
2. The final exam takes (50%) of the total course score. It includes all or most of the course contents, according to policies recommended by the academic department councils and approved by the college council.
